Nigerian cuisine consists of dishes from the hundreds of ethnic groups. It uses spices and herbs in with palm oil or groundnut oil to create flavoured sauces and soups often made very hot with chilli peppers. Rice (jollof and fried) is very popular along with soups and stews.

Alcohol is also popular but often comes with a warning!!!
.........and sometimes have interesting names!!
